Terms & Conditions

Arrival and Departure - We kindly ask that guests arrive between 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  If you will be arriving after 8:00 pm please let us know as we organize our day around your arrival time.  Guests departure is 11:00 am.

 

Reservations - Please note our cancellation policy before committing to a reservation.  To make a reservation please use our “Book Now” page or button at the bottom of our website.  We will email or phone you confirm and complete your reservation.  In order for us to confirm a reservation, we will need your credit card number for a deposit (one night's stay).  This will be charged to your card within 48 hours of confirming your reservation.  If you’re reserving a room for more than one night, the remainder of your balance will be due upon arrival.

 

Payment - Prices listed are in Canadian dollars. VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Interac/Flash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, e-transfers and cash are accepted.  There is a transaction fee on all credit and debit card payments. We do not charge the HST.

 

Cancellation – As a small business with limited guest rooms, cancellations can have a big impact on us.  We realize that unexpected situations can occur and we will endeavour to be as helpful as possible in such instances.

 

In case of cancellation or a change to your reservation:

  • We require a minimum of 72 hours notice before the arrival window (4:00 pm).
  • Within the 72 hours cancellation notice, we will retain the deposit provided at the time of your reservation.  We will refund your deposit, if we’re able to fill the room.

Parking - Sufficient parking is available for guests’ use.  However, cars parked here are at owner’s risk.

 

Damage, Breakage and Missing Items - Our home and guest rooms are kept in exceptional condition but we do expect normal wear and tear to occur.  You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages to our premises and its furnishings/contents, including stains, spills, burns, etc.  Accidents happen, so please let us know as soon as they occur especially if you accidentally spill something – it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and act quickly.  However, if your damage requires a room to be out of service, you will be responsible to reimburse us for any lost rentals.  We reserve the right to charge for missing items, replacement, repair or making good, if required.

 

Data - Some of the data gathered during the course of a booking may be held on our computer.  We would like to hold this data after your visit to be able to inform you of future offers.  If you would prefer us not to hold this information please let us know.

 

Keys - Aside from a room key you will be provided with an access code to the front door upon arrival.  You are responsible for the key and access code for the duration of your stay.  Lost keys will be charged at a rate of $35.00/key.

 

Liability - We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or any employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.

 

Pets - Sorry, but pets are not permitted.

 

Rates - Rates are based on a maximum of two people per room, per night and includes a full gourmet breakfast.  Daily housekeeping is also provided.  We reserve the right to change our rates.  This does not affect bookings already made.

 

Smoking - Harlem Stonegate is a smoke free environment.  A cleaning fee of $150.00 will be applied to your credit card if you or any of your guest’s smoke or burn any substance within our home.  For safety reasons, smoking is also not permitted anywhere on the grounds except in our designated smoking area.

 

Wi-Fi Access - By using our Wi-Fi Service you automatically agree to the terms and conditions of use in force at the time.

 

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
