Our historic 1830's farm is virtually unchanged (at least in appearance) since it was carved out of the local wilderness some 188 years ago. The billowing hayfields, dry-stack stone fences, sandstone farmhouse, outbuildings, and weathered post-and-beam barns hearken back to the early settlers in the region. Many of the barn buildings and vistas on the property are well suited for period film making.
Harlem Stonegate B&B (Stonegate Farm) was featured as 1 of 4 historic properties in the "February 2019, Issue 133, of “In The Loop", an Ontario Film Commission publication. The issue celebrated an eclectic mix of locations from across the Province of Ontario, featuring four period country estates located throughout central and southern Ontario.
