Cathy2022-10-19David and Alicia were warm gracious hosts who made us feel most welcome. The room was beautiful with everything we needed and so clean. Alicia did dinner the first night which was delicious and presented so nicely, breakfast amazing. They were helpful with suggestions and we had done a walk after we checked out and Alicia went out of her way to make us a bodem coffee to take away. The little extras so appreciated. Make this a a place to stay!! Cathy
Gord Campbell2022-10-04From the moment we drove up to the property you could feel the stress peel away. Alicia greeted us on the beautiful wrap around porch and took us to our cosy room. The house has so much character and Alicia and Dave put so much work into making everything calming. We had a great night sleep and woke up to an absolutely delicious breakfast. Dave didn’t have to ask if we enjoyed it because our dishes were scraped clean. After breakfast Dave took us on a tour of the property which is so peaceful and then we had a great chat with both of them before we left. They are such a great couple, hard working and very down to earth. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and hope to see Alicia and Dave again soon. You definitely want to stay here and be transported to somewhere very special!

Although this operates as a B&B there is no need to be a guest, just make sure to call and reserve in advance. The tea service was fantastic. The food was devine. And the service was top notch. Thank you Alicia and Dave for making my birthday a fantastic one!
Miranda Heredia2022-08-21The bed and breakfast was excellent. Recently renovated rooms with all the amenities you could want. Very comfortable stay. Also the breakfast was delicious and gorgeous ambiance to eat. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting a night away from the city.

The 50-acre farm offers a deeply peaceful experience, with bird song as the only background noise. The beds are very comfortable (rare for a B&B), and the owners go the extra mile to help guests feel at home.

Pulling in, it was like we found a beautiful oasis on the country - the beautiful house, lush gardens and golden wheat fields. Lisa and Dave welcomed us and showed us to our room - the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. And the small touches made such a big difference. From the water and chocolates in the room to the self-serve tea service to give us a quiet start to the morning... And the food! Maybe it was the fresh air from exploring the property that got my appetite up because The breakfast was delicious - everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. I loved exploring the library - the selection of books is so well curated. I found classics that I had forgotten about and new books that caught my interest. I wish I could have stayed for a week, reading and relaxing in the hammock by the pond. I will most definitely be back!
Lolly2021-11-03The warm, fine hospitality, the thoughtful touches, the beds, the beautiful location, the food!! The food. The hosts are fantastic and we were so comfortable. We rode gravel bikes from Ottawa, rail trail all the way from Ottawa and side roads back. Perfect.
