Harlem Stonegate B&B

We have endeavored to create a quiet, comfortable, elegant, and inspirational environment in which guests can unwind, relax, and rejuvenate.  The home is an amazing 1860's stone farmhouse and adjoining carriage house originally built to support a nearly 200 acre dairy farm.  The current property is approximately 50 acres and includes a beautiful tranquil sugar bush, peaceful waving hayfields, serene wetlands and fascinating majestic post-and-beam bank barns.  B&B guests have free reign to stroll the property (weather and safety permitting), venture out to surrounding activities, or can simply enjoy the warmth and cozy ambiance of the main guest facilities which include two beautiful well-appointed guest rooms, upstairs reading area, welcoming airy sunroom, charming period dining area, and screened-in tea area.

In the mid 1990's a beautiful cozy warm sunroom was added to the stone home. With relaxing views of the gardens and wetlands, guests (particularly on longer-term, and winter, stays) can retire to this area, warm by the wood stove, watch TV and enjoy drinks.  Wildlife such as deer, herrons, and fox are often observed from the windows.

2nd Floor Reading Corner

In the second floor guest area, we have set up a quiet reading area where you can catch up on reading and media without disturbing your companion.

The Covered Veranda

The original covered wrap-around veranda provides a simple, charming access, and focal point to the manicured grounds, gardens, and gazebo.  Guests can utilize the porch to sit and relax, and as access to our screened tea and breakfast area.
